Two years ago the source code of Windows 2000 (the basis of XP) was leaked. It’s good code… but who knew Microsoft programmers swore so much?
for all the people who have strong maths in school and need to do “Polynomdivision”, here is a link you should really check out!
Have fun getting 10s !
You could call it the revenge of Google.
The search engine has removed all links to the belgian mewspapers: “Le Soir”, “La Libre” and “la DH”, three major belgian newspapers which have sued Google before.
This was ofcourse not what the court asked for, they only asked to remove the articles from Googles Newspage.
Try searching for one of the three newspapers on Google Belgium and on any other Google. You’ll find links to the newspapers pages on any of the pages except belgium.
Google wants to make clear that they have alot of power, as they are the N°1 search engine worldwide.
This fight is followed by the entire world, as it could encourage other editors to do the same thing as the 3 Newspapers from belgium.
I’ll keep you posted!

On Friday, a Belgian court ruled that Google may not publish any news content of any german, french or belgian newspapers without paying or asking them.
So google shutdown Google Belgium, Google France and Google Germany.
If you try to visit google.be / google.de / google.fr you will get an timeout.
I also had problems accessing GMail or it was really slow. Will that be offline too for the three countries?
Here are some links on the topic:
I had the chance of being early this morning and still got a last screenshot of Googles Page.
But while writing this article, I seem to have lost the tab… I know … really dumb of me.
Lets see when it will be back.
UPDATE (19:20 CEST – 2006-09-23):
The 3 local pages are back online.
I just came back from my 3 week holiday in Mahdia. As I said in the other post, I started doing some PHP. I now have uploaded the new Dynamic Gallery. At the same time, you can find the new pictures in it.
Feel free to comment here.
Pictures of Tunisia 2006: http://photos.florianjensen.com/photos.php?id=6
As some of you may kniow, I am on holidays in Mahdia (Tunisia) for 3 weeks. I have to say, the weather is perfect, the sea is nice, and there is a big swimmingpool. If you want to see pictures of the hotel: MahdiaPalace.com .
As there is nearly no Internet connection here, I have started to play around with PHP, and I have to say: IT RULEZZ!!!
I have finally made the Photo Gallery dynamic as I wanted, and I also made some cool PHP stuff for other pages. I will upload the gallery as soon as I am back home (29.08.06).
I’ll try to post some other posts here while I am on holidays. The pictures will come as soon as I am back home, along with the new Photo Gallery.
 Have a nice time!
Hey there people. As you might have noticed, I’m back from my holidays in Denmark. It was quite nice. I have got some pictures ready to be commented … hehe.
To view the pictures simply go to the Photo Gallery
Hey there peeps, I have recieved a licence key for Windows Vista with Windows Ultimate Extras.
I have been running it now for 12 hours, and have to say, it doesn’t crash more than Windows XP.
I installed it without any problems on my Test PC (P3 700MHz, GF4 MX, 512MB Ram) and encountered no problems. I have tried to do the same thing on VMWare Server, but that didn’t work, which is really a pity.
Then I was at the point of the activation. This didn’t work at all. After searching a few forums, I have found this as a solution. So anyone of you who has problems activating Vista follow these steps here.
After that all worked fine. I have some problems with Nvidia Drivers and 3D Acceleration, but that is only a minor problem. I have posted here some images which you’ll like.
My favourite new features is the RSS Feed Reader in Internet Explorer 7. You can see how it looks like on the screenshots. But there is again or still the problem of Internet Explorer and CSS. It just doesn’t seem to work like CSS and Firefox does.
I hope you’ll enjoy the screenshots, and feel free to ask for more. Continue reading Experiencing Windows Vista
A few years ago, ICQ and AIM joined forces and opened their network to communicate to eachother.
A few days ago, MSN opened their Network to the Yahoo Network.
“This first-of-its-kind interoperability between consumer IM leadersMicrosoft and Yahoo! gives our customers tremendous control, convenience and freedom in their Web communication experiences withWindows Live,” said Blake Irving, corporate vice president, WindowsLive Platform at Microsoft. “We’re proud to deliver this latestadvancement in IM services that empower people to communicate withvirtually whomever they want, wherever they want and whenever theywant.”
Windows Live Messenger and Yahoo! Messenger with Voice users in theU.S. and more than 15 international markets can register to participatein the IM interoperability beta by visiting Yahoo!.The new beta program will be available in Argentina, Australia, Brazil,Canada (English and French), China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India,Italy, Korea, Mexico, Netherlands, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, Turkey, the United Kingdom and the United States (English and Spanish).
Personally I am not a fan of Microsoft nor Yahoo Messenger. The solution is Jabber! OpenSource and free! There are alot of Transports which give the user the possibility to connect to other Messenger Networks.
Flosoft Messenger, a Jabber Service, can be found at: http://im.flosoft.biz
This time it is Yahoo.com which gets a new look. Personally, I have to say, I don’t really like it. I still prefer Google’s light search interface.
Now the question of the day: Who is next to launch their new Website? BBC.co.uk? Google.com? We will have to wait and see.
