Ein Auto mit Koffern, das war alles was die Familie Klaba begleitet hatte in 1990, als sie aus Polen nach Frankreich kamen. Ein Teil der Familie in Saint-Amand-les-Eaux, aber hauptsächlich der Wille um Erfolg zu haben wird dem Schicksal dieser unternehmungslustigen Franco-Polnischen Familie weiterhelfen.

Einer der Söhne Klaba, Octave, studierte um zum Ingenieur zu werden (ICAM in Lille), geht nach England und danach nach Amerika, wo er anfängt auf dem Gebiet der Entwicklung für Hosting Systeme zu arbeiten. Als er wieder in Frankreich war, in Roubaix, startet er seine Firma OVH (« On Vous Héberge »), im Jahre 1999.

In 2002, empfängt die Firma eine ICANN akkreditierung, was ihnen die Möglichkeit gibt internationale Domains zu verwalten. Alles wird jetzt schneller. OVH wächst in Roubaix und Paris, multipliziert die Anzahl der Server die sie Verwalten, öffnet Zweigstellen in Madrid, Frankfurt, London, und Wroclaw. « Nous sommes aujourd’hui la 25e plus grande entreprise mondiale dans l’hébergement de sites Internet » (Wir sind heute die 25. größte Firma der Welt auf dem Gebiet von dem Hosting von Internetseiten.), freut sich der junge Octave Klaba, der jetzt am Kopf einer Firma ist in mitten der Entwicklung, also setzt er seinen Vater in die „direction générale“ und seinen Bruder in die der Einkäufe.

Die Familie der Klaba setzt nicht nur neue Standards in derem Beruf als Webhoster, sondern sie haben auch ein System entwickelt womit sie die Server per Wasserkühlung kühlen können. Dieses System erlaubt ihnen in den Sälen von Paris um 16 000 Server auf einer Fläche von 1000m2 zu nutzen. Dies ist ein echter Rekord.

A mix dedicated to the Live ! Generation.According to him and Microsoft, among the 12 to 24 years old net surfers, 70% uses Live Messenger.

Hey,

since Friday I have a new Laptop! It is a very fast HP Pavillion Notebook (dv2386ea).

It was shipped with Vista Home Premium, which supports multitasking alot better than XP. Now I can work with Photoshop, Flash and copy files at the same time.

It has about 4 hours battery life, and is extremely fast thanks to the Core2Duo processor.

Another nice thing is that it is onl 14inch big. Mobility is very important for me, as I use my laptop everywhere.

Microsoft has published two new betas.

One is the Windows Live Messenger 8.5 (which I recommend for Vista users) and Windows Live Mail. As the download link on the Live page doesn’t seem to work, I have uploaded the installers to my site.
